Recommended Consumer Item of the Day!

Here it is! I've been doing nothing but painting the new place and it would have taken FOREVER without this handy little dude. Its an edger so you don't have to use any blue tape or anything and voila, perfectly edged trim and ceilings! I will admit, I was quite skeptical about it but it saved my life! Hooray! Get one.

We finally did it!

After two long years of house hunting we finally bought our first home! Its here in Gurnee so we will remain in the same ward and school district, which was really important to us. Here are a few pictures from the listing, so basically our "before" photos. "After" photos will follow soon!

Okay so lots has changed for us in the past month, one of those changes being the loss of our dear Ford Taurus, Harmony, who we loved dearly. We got this Buick here instead, big enough for John's giant body yet more economical than an SUV.
I'm gonna miss Harmony though, for some reason I bond emotionally with our cars. Weird. Maybe I should stop naming them?
